The Venice, Florida real estate market has made a
decided shift towards becoming a buyers market. While homes with all the
right "in demand' features such as view, pool, location, number of rooms,
finish, and garage spaces continue to see appreciation of 10-15% on an
annual basis, those homes that are missing some of these "in demand"
features are either sitting unsold, or selling below last year's sale
prices.
Navigating a course through this
sea of, in many cases, overpriced listings is now a difficult task for
buyers. The selection is there, which makes this one of the best buying
opportunities in recent memory, but as a good caddy can make all the
difference on a tough course, a real estate agent who knows the local market
will definitely improve your game, or in this case your bottom line.
